Shibiraj Saha has taken over as Executive Chef of Holiday Inn Goa Candolim. Chef Shubiraj has over 24 years of hospitality experience with IHG, Hyatt, ITC, Sheraton, Taj Group of Hotels, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, Radisson and Sarovar Group.
Hailing from City of Joy, Kolkata, Chef Shibiraj is an alumnus of IIAS (International Institute of Advance Studies, Kolkata) having worked with several pre-opening brands and projects. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the entire F&B experience, leading the kitchen and F&B outlets at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim. A connoisseur of modern Indian cuisine, contemporary cooking techniques and culinary styling, his passion and impeccable culinary knowledge have led him to work with several talented chefs, showcasing his expertise at culinary events and shows. and to obtain multiple distinctions.
Looking back on her journey and reminiscing on her childhood memories, Chef Shibiraj said, “As a child, I loved watching my mother cook, learning new recipes and adapting her cooking skills and techniques. Regarding my memory, I have always been sure of my career path. It was a fantastic trip and I look forward to applying my experience and skills and taking Holiday Inn Goa Candolim to greater heights.
