Holiday Inn Scotch Corner Unveils New Look Including Starbucks

A hotel next to the A1(M) has unveiled its latest hotel refurbishment which has seen the popular venue get a new contemporary media lounge, an Open Lobby concept and a new bar and lounge. a living room.

Images of the Holiday Inn Darlington A1(M) Scotch Corner have been shared and show the latest renovation of its hotel which it is hoped will become a modern destination for the Darlington community.

The renovation aims to change the way guests and the public use the venue, especially among businesses and professionals in the area, now providing space to grab a coffee, work remotely or collaborate with others.

The new media lounge houses several meeting spaces, as well as two state-of-the-art semi-private media pods from which local businesses can meet, work and present.

Each pod can accommodate up to five people and includes TV screens for projection, free Wi-Fi, free parking, all-day tea and coffee, access to a printer, and lunch – available as part of a half-day rental package.

The Holiday Inn at Scotch Corner also offers electric vehicle charging stations available to all visitors to the local community.

The new open lobby also features a ‘To Go’ cafe with its own Starbucks coffee, offering a selection of drinks, cakes, sandwiches and snacks for customers.

Snowdon, General Manager of Holiday Inn Darlington A1 Scotch Corner, said, “The Open Lobby concept is unique to the Holiday Inn brand, and we are very proud to unveil our newly renovated space to the Darlington community.
