The hotels are located next to the bus, train and airport train station and are part of a set of nine new properties which will eventually offer 2,400 rooms.
These include the debut of mid-range lifestyle brand Tribe by Accor in England, with the nine-storey, 412-room complex to be located around 400 meters from Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2. which should open in early 2024.

Commenting on the news, Gareth Jackson, Managing Director of Group Properties at Manchester Airports Group (MAG), said:
“The practical completion of the Holiday Inn and ibis budget hotels is another big milestone at Airport City Manchester.
“They are the first in a series of global hotel brands that will provide a range of additional facilities and amenities to the airport campus, as well as a range of employment opportunities for locals.
“Alongside the work beginning on Tribe, these new hotels underscore the continued progress being made at Airport City Manchester.”
