Public holiday today for schools and colleges in parts of the state ahead of the High Court verdict on the Hijab line


In parts of Karnataka, holidays have been declared today, March 15, 2022, in many schools and colleges. In Udupi, Shivamogga and DK, all educational institutions are closed and some exams have been postponed ahead of the High Court verdict on the Hijab row.

The verdict of the Karnataka High Court on the Hijab row has been eagerly awaited by many people. A problem that has been going on for almost a month and a half should stop today. Even before the closure of schools and colleges in Karnataka, several areas had Section 144 imposed on them to avoid any untoward incident.

Looking at the details of a public holiday today in schools and colleges, according to ANI, Kurma Rao M, District Magistrate, Udupi said yesterday that all schools and colleges will remain closed only for today . If there are any changes to this, they will be announced later.
